THE TUSCAN FARMSHOP

One of the best things about our work - whether it's commercial photography, recipe development or web design - is that we're helping mostly small to medium companies run by people who've had a dream and worked hard to make it reality. They are creative, inspiring and courageous. It takes a lot of guts to set up a food or drink business in the current economic climate and sometimes a lot of sleepless nights are involved in keeping it afloat.

Wanda Djebbar had a dream. In her own words: "She dreamed of Tuscany; the rolling hills, the olive groves, the vineyards, poppy strewn fields and cypress trees, chestnut woods teeming with wildlife, stone built houses steeped in history, vegetable gardens and wonderful food. Then she bought a farm in Tuscany and in time she realised that the abundant produce of the farm needed to go further than her kitchen table.

"So she decided to open a farm shop ... in Burnham Market. Normal if you farm nearby in Norfolk ... but a bit of a leap in faith if you farm at Montalcino in the province of Sienna."

Now Wanda not only makes her own wine and olive oil, but also imports delicacies from the region around her farm. A little bit of Tuscany in East Anglia. Delizioso!
